I smell good.
I am wearing Amouage Epic Woman.
Sorry. I can't save you money--Amouage scents cost a bundle. I can't yet speak intelligently about it--the first time I applied, I thought it was a no-go. At this moment, I am VERY happy with my investment in a split.
So, as far as review or public service go... "fail."
However, you do know how I came to have in my possession that which I have discussed. Which is an issue that is being discussed in bloggery right now. And I shall attempt to take up next.

Oh, those Amouages. I wanted to hate them for being so pricey and overblown. But they are well-made and very beautiful, even Dia, Gold and Jub 25, none of which suited me personally. Ubar is lovely and Lyric makes my toes curl in luxurious happiness. (Still haven't smelled Epic, but I'll hit Queen Daisy Enabler up for a sample soon...)
I don't, actually, know how you snagged your Epic. I imagine all will become clear with your next post.
Uh-oh...I thought the "happy with my investment in a split" made clear I paid for a share of a split. Hmm.
Amouage. I'm still not sure how I feel about that price...can I trust that the ingredients are that much pricier, all other manufacturing issues being the same? Not that I'm not willing to pay more for a certain nose/artist...which, by the way, I'd be more willing to pay for then, say, a Lalique bottle. Ultimately, free market allows people to charge what the traffic will bear...which means I sometimes wonder if I should hold back from purchasing just as a way to influence pricing.
(Laughter from various quarters...as if my investment represented a significant factor to consider when pricing juice...)
I need to get caught up on the Epic story as well. (Who is blogging behind our backs?)
Expensive but (mostly) worth it, as far as I'm concerned-- you can travel the earth looking for sniffs this good. (Although Tribute Attar smelled like rose-scented bong-water to me. I'll try it again, but I'm afraid of it now....)
!!!!
Maybe I need glasses.
Hello, LCNose...indeed, who blogs behind our backs? ;)
I do bow to a house that can establish not only reliability, but quality reliability. And I recognize that Amouage offers that AND happiness to many. I think that I'd have to give personal props to FMalle, too, which is interesting, because that line is more a collective "produced" (in the theatrical or film sense) by Malle, with a variety of noses (and attendant sensibilities) under one tent. I am grateful that he is working, in the same way so many are grateful for Serge Lutens. (Who I wouldn't kick to the curb.)
Which is all to say, yes, if the juice delivers, and the price isn't too outrageous, it is worth it. Helps the budget that I am not into cosmetics, I must say. :)
Mals,
By which I hope you mean that you considered that sufficient indication...phew! :)
Ack. Glasses. Who needs 'em? Well, me, for one... :)
