Leftovers, perfume style

Take one gourmand perfume...in this case, Ambre Narguile.  Got it?

Now, that perfume rubbed off onto the cuff of a sleeve.

That item of clothing, lifted and passing your nose as you load it into the washing machine.

Voila.  Calorie-free delicious leftover surprise.

LOVE THIS about perfume. Any perfume (well, any I like anyway.)

Thanks for your great comment on my Manicure post. That's EXACTLY my dilemma. My employer isn't anal about me clocking in, but regularly taking a long lunch for a mani/pedi would probably be frowned upon. And the money, but for once the cost is (kinda) secondary. :-)

Whenever I load the washing machine, I get a knock-out whiff or two of Carnal Flower. I swear that stuff lasts for weeks...

Cashmere...

Yes, you are right, of course. There's something nice about a haunted piece of clothing...as long as it's a scent you WANT to be haunted by, lol.

Yup, I know where you are coming from. HEY...in the warmer weather, at least...couldn't you call it "Mani Golf"? Don't guys go on golf outings "for business?" Catch up with 'em at the 19th hole... :)

Beverly,

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, boy...Carnal Flower must indeed be a laster. (But now I know you smell good!) I fear a day when I have a melange of lingering scents from some sort of sampling rampage, and the cumulative effect sends me running. It's not as if the laundry pile itself doesn't make me want to, anyway. ;)

I *do* generally try to keep my scents away from fabric, unless I specifically am intending for molecular capture. This was the result of a "eh, it's going to go in the laundry shortly anyway" spritz. Glad it was something I liked...as I assume your Carnal Flower is. Turns out, like some foods, I might like the leftovers of AN even more than the first round!

I love that too! Today I was cleaning my bedroom and noticed that right by where I keep my perfumes, the hardwood floors are decidedly delicious smelling...

Ah! I am going to have to start sniffing certain parts of my floor... :)
